One of the most challenging concerns among extractors in the industry is the potential for downtime and lost revenue. Many pumps available today on the market are prone to failed seals, reduced vacuum power, diaphragms that rupture, and many other issues that require maintenance or even a full replacement. These cause a loss of both time and money along with the potential of disappointing

crucial customers and driving them to move their business elsewhere. With the new STAR 150 and STAR-OEM systems, these concerns were taken into account from the beginning of the design process, guaranteeing that customers who invest in a STAR pump will benefit from stable cycles of efficient production and lower operational costs over time.


Design features of the STAR 150 pump include its ability to be stacked, allowing extractor end users and extractor manufacturer to customize their systems to double (“Twin-STAR”) or triple (“Tri-STAR”) recovery rates while utilizing the same size footprint as a single unit. For the STAR-OEM product, the pump features the same power of the STAR 150 but does not feature a unit frame. This pump will allow manufacturers to easily integrate STAR-OEM into their existing extraction designs, whether stacked as a recovery pump next to their machinery or integrated into a design so that the pump is out of the way and not underfoot.
